Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. You can reach Collier Automotive at (239) 263-2827; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 59 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Naples and suggests consistent service.

Naples is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Naples follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

After getting a few quotes around the area, I met John and quickly realized I could trust him. It was clear I’d found my mechanic. John is experienced, reliable, honest, and incredibly organized. Every issue my car had was resolved, and I always felt confident knowing it was in good hands. I’m not sharing this to say John runs a charity, but to speak to his character. Over time, as I became a regular with my ‘05 Civic, I was going through a difficult season. John saw the need, and helped me when he could. He never brought attention to it, never made me feel embarrassed, never acted like I owed him anything… but I did. I’ll never forget his kindness. Looking back, the least I can do is leave this man and his shop the honest 5-star review they deserve. If you’re looking for an experienced mechanic you can trust, I highly recommend stopping by Collier Automotive.

John has been our mechanic since 2011 and the only one I trust completely. Every quote has been below any competition and John, Geary and Brandon are consummate gentlemen. Highly recommend!

Outstanding. Prices are competitive and fair, and they do high-quality work. Bottom line, these are car guys; they are passionate about the work. The owner is honest and stands behind his price quotes. Your search for auto work should start and end at Collier Automotive. Mine did.
